UNC Youth – shows Appreciation to Sri Lankan Cricket team
The UNC Youth Arm and UNC Youth on a Mission has always supported sport as part of a holistic Youth Development Plan. Many of the members of the UNC Youth are sportsmen and thus besides taking part in local sporting tournaments one of the aims of the UNC Youth Arm is to ensure that the young sport men are mentored and able to meet their real life heroes.
The Chairman Nicholas Morris in the past two years introduced a program by which young sport men in the youth arm are able to meet senior international cricketers and learn from the advice they have to offer. The program was first executed in 2012 with the touring Australians and in 2013 when the Youth Chairman led his youth to meet the Sri Lankan Cricket team.
The UNC Youth Arm also presented the cricketers with tokens of appreciation and gifts on behalf of the people of Trinidad and Tobago
