UNC Youth Arm “Live Yuh Life”

LIVE YUH LIFE (2)Hundreds attended the launch of the UNC Youth on a Mission Health Campiagn yesterday at Palmiste Park. The health awareness campaign is dedicated to bettering the health and lifestyles of young people lead by the Honorable Attorney General Anand Ramlogan and UNC Youth Arm Chairman Nicholas Morris .

The day featured many Health booths such as one run by Namdevco to encourage individuals to buy local and eat vegetables and fruits, an HIVbooth run the Red initiative and many others.

Participants were also treated to free fruits, boxes of healthy Rasin Bran Cereal, Dark Chocolate for a healthy heart and also free lunch to everyone.

Some of the days activities included a Martial Arts display along with a self defense demo for young women and along with a Health Walk around the park with AG Ramlogan and Youth Arm Chair Nicholas Morris leading the 200 plus participants.

This is the first of many Health and Family days of the UNC Youth on a Mission as we seek to better the lives of our young people.
