THE EDITOR: The Central Statistics Office has revealed that Trinidad and Tobago has now recorded its lowest Unemployment rate (3.7 percent) in its history.
This is a most commendable feat of the Government, but since it’s not negative news, has not been highlighted in the media. Together with very positive economic indicators, inflation rate five percent, a manageable Debt/GDP ratio, healthy balance of payments position, strong foreign reserves, a positive rating from Standards and Poor and good reviews from the IMF a strong balance in the Heritage Fund, this country is being well governed and has a bright future.
