Warner Up To No Good

Jack Warner is clearly intent on not only dividing the UNC support, but also destabilising the PP Government. Mr Warner made his intentions quite clear when he formed his own Independent Liberal Party (IPL) to contest the Chaguanas West by-election, after not being selected as the UNC candidate.

If the citizens have been keeping tabs, it would be very easy to reveal Mr Warner for what he truly is. He is a power hungry, deceitful, self opinionated and corrupt individual. Warner’s troubling past have come full circle, and now all the allegations of corruption hang over his head. It is not surprising that the UNC had no choice but to reject his nomination. And now, Mr Warner is trying to deceive the public again by stating publicly that he wishes to be part of the PP Government.

The Prime Minister and the PP Government prides itself on transparency and people centred governance. Mr Warner while you have served some of your constituents, to be in public office requires you to have a clean slate. In my opinion, Mr Warner’s refusal to clear his name of all the allegations of corruption is admittance of guilt. Mr Warner is proving that he doesn’t care about the greater good, but rather his own selfish needs.
