Dr. Rai Ragbir is 54 years of age. In the year 1990, he graduated as a Medical Doctor from the University of the West Indies and completed his post graduate studies in Family Medicine in the UK.
He returned to Trinidad in the year 1997 and began working at the then North Central Regional Health Authority as a Primary Care Manager for 8 years, managing over (20) twenty health centres and also commissioned the Couva District Health Facility. Dr.Ragbir was also trained in Mass Casualty Management by PAHO. In addition, he served as EMA director and Post Chairman of the Board of CISL (Community Improvement Services Limited).
Additionally, he also served as Deputy Political Leader for the UNC and is also pursuing his Diploma in law from the University of London.
His goal is to continue helping people, not only in the medical field but in any possible way he is able to facilitate. Consequently, he renders his services in free medical clinics across the country.
