Glad for Debe extension

Last Sunday afternoon I took my family for a drive to Debe, where we all enjoyed lovely hot doubles, aloo pies and saheena.

This is a trip we would never have taken before, but the recently completed highway extension to Debe gave us the confidence to make the journey.

I would like to commend all those responsible for the completion of the first phase of the Point Fortin Highway, despite the trying conditions.

I look forward to the speedy completion of the entire highway when, for the first time, we will be able to enjoy a day out in Point Fortin.
