Delivery Matters

Reading the daily newspapers and watching nightly news have become almost like a soap opera. The negativity that this “silly season” has brought this nation to bear is most times unbelievable. This is why when I see something positive, I am forced to mention it.

This week, an eleven year old student serenaded the Prime Minister, singing one of her favourite songs after she officially opened the Febeau Government Primary School at Saddle Road, San Juan. For those of us interested in what really matters, this for me stands as testimony to something positive that the government has delivered.

When put in the context of all that has been developed in the country during the last 5 years, it is clear to me that delivery matters. Whilst many may talk development and policy, this government has actually delivered.
