Kamla is the best man for the job!

Dear Editor,

The oafish nature and desperate intensity of these attacks against the Kamla Persad-Bissessar government indicate a chronic, chauvinistic unwillingness by a helluva lot of pusillanimous men to accept a woman as boss of the boardroom, even when she’s the best man for the job.

But, praise God, there’s a saying who laughs last, laughs best!

And another which says: “Trinidadians aren’t stupid!”

And, finally, one that reminds: “God might take a rest, but God doh sleep!”

After contemplating on all Kamla accomplished or initiated since taking over from Manning, the solitary conclusion to draw is that only one man will remain standing after the September 7 ballots are counted. And he will be in suspended animation, wondering why he didn’t heed the pre-election polls which spelt out that Kamla is still the one.
