AG Ramlogan Meets US Attorney General for High Level Talks in Barbados
Attorney General of Trinidad and Tobago Anand Ramlogan, Senior Counsel, met with his United States counterpart, Attorney General Mr Eric Holder on Wednesday 19th November, 2014 for special talks on a wide range of matters at the US Embassy in Barbados.
Several issues were discussed with a view to strengthening the international legal framework and deepening the partnership and collaboration between the US and the Caribbean on crime and security matters. Discussions centred on border security, regional security, transnational organised crime, human trafficking, international justice cooperation and mutual legal assistance.
Several other Attorneys General from around the region were also in attendance including Patrick Atkinson Q.C. of Jamaica, Adriel Brathwaite Q.C. of Barbados and Jason Hamilton of St Kitts and Nevis.
