Nothing but platform talk and trash
THE EDITOR: If debates were elections, then the fight was only between the UNC and the PNM.
At Thursday night’s local Government debate, Ken Roach of the Independent Liberal party was dismal, disappointing and lacklustre.
The UNC came with its basket and let rip from the word go, the PNM knows it has nothing, did nothing and can offer nothing, least of which is good governance and the MSJ was all talk as usual.
Now if anyone was considering the ILP as a possible government, and we have to take Ken Roach as a measure of what to expect, then we don’t have to wait for them to assume government to expect nothing, but platform talk and trash.
Ken Roach looked like a deer caught in the headlights: he was all starry eyed.
He was replete with barren non-answers, recycled rhetoric of which the ILP platform is pregnant with, well schooled in the empty head class of teacher Warner.
If goes to show: the ILP really has nothing to offer the population.
Their claim to have a crime plan which will be revealed only when and on the condition that they get into office is a new spin on old, “Vote For Me and I will Set You Free” trick.
No one, except the foolish, the easily fooled and easiest fooled and duped will vote for a party which has a crime plan to be revealed only when they assume office: it’s like buying cat in bag. I don’t like cats.

Anyone who takes these ‘so-called’ debates seriously and latches on to the well-chosen catch words and sound bites of seasoned politicians cannot be taken seriously. Lystra Marajh is a classic example of the foolish, the easily fooled and easiest fooled and duped. Anyone who believes the likes of Suruj and Colm is a sucker. Lystra is obviously a PP supporter
who will vote for a party that has been selling or better still giving away cats in bags for more than three years. Note: I am not a member or supporter of any political party in T&T
