The political leader of the UNC has often been accused of allowing Mr. Warner to talk and act as he pleased prior to his resignation from his entire portfolio. The reality was that Mr. Warner portrayed himself as our “Minister of the People.”
The local media did their own private investigation into Mr. Warner’s family conflicts with the US, giving the population insight into the frightening reality to the life of a public government official.
It seems that with the mounting pressure from the international bodies, Mr. Warner decided that all the”good ” he has done was all for this purpose of buying his support for the times when his back would be against the wall.
To date, the electorate is faithful to him because they don’t want him to think that they are betraying him for his assistance to them.
They, however, need to take one step back to realise that as an independent, he cannot help them as much as he did before since he will be an opposition member of parliament. The other reality is that if these investigations are true, and his intention is to be our Prime Minister in 2015, then we as a country will be blacklisted by internationals.
