United National Congress appoints new Public Relations Officer

The United National Congress is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Anita Haynes as the party’s Public Relations Officer.

Ms Haynes’ appointment was announced by UNC Political Leader Kamla Persad Bissessar on Monday 3rd July, 2017, at the party’s Monday Night Forum in Couva.
In welcoming her to the position, UNC Chairman David Lee noted that Ms Haynes brings to the party her extensive experience and qualifications in the areas of political communications, strategy and project management.
Ms Haynes holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from St John’s University, which she attended on a Presidential Scholarship, as well as a Law degree from University of London. She is also a graduate of St Joseph’s Convent, San Fernando.
“The United National Congress remains committed to involving young people in public service and public life,” Chairman Lee said. “Involving a diverse cadre of people in public policy has always been a key tenet of the leadership of UNC Political Leader and Leader of the Opposition, Mrs Kamla Persad Bissessar.”
The UNC Chairman said the party welcomes all persons committed to the development of Trinidad and Tobago to join the UNC as we move forward in serving the best interests of the country.
