UNC Women’s Arms Supports the Call for an Apology by Ms Natalee Legore

The inaccurate, inflammatory, and wholly outrageous comments made by Ms. Natalee Legore, that the UNC asking for a recount in the 2020 General Elections can be compared to the current political situation in the USA is atrocious. Her comments are wrong and biased. As a national television host, she should stick to responsible journalism and hosting an informed program.
Ms. Legore’s comments were nothing short of reckless, disrespectful and demeaning. Accordingly, she should not only apologize to the Leader of the Opposition Mrs. Kamla Persad Bissessar but to the over 300,000 supporters of the UNC.
Furthermore, it is disappointing but not surprising that the Women’s Arm of the current ruling party, the PNM’s Women’s League is silent on the myriad of issues facing our women of Trinidad and Tobago but never miss an opportunity to fan the flames of division and discord.
Our women are at risk daily and before they join us in seeking solutions to help our women, the PNM’s Women’s Arm can only find their voice to attack the UNC and Mrs. Persad Bissesssar, another strong woman fighting for all of us.
