Petrotrin Officials tour La Brea Community (1)2Petrotrin continues to make significant progress in cleaning the beaches, shoreline and affected areas along the south western peninsula.

Today a delegation of senior Petrotrin officials including Chairman Lindsay Gillette and President Khalid Hassanali visited the Pt. Sable and Coffee Beach locations to observe firsthand the progress of ongoing clean-up operations following the December 17 oil spill.

The visit revealed substantial improvement however, President Hassanali noted that during the upcoming weeks additional clean-up will be required followed by ongoing rehabilitation and monitoring.

Petrotrin will continue the clean-up exercise and remains committed to supporting economic and environmental recovery in these affected and surrounding communities. .
