Paray: PM Rowley must resign over Emailgate fraud

Mayaro MP Rushton Paray is now calling on Prime Minister Dr.Keith Rowley to immediately resign following the dismissal of the investigations into the so called “emailgate affair”, due to a lack of credibility.
“With over 30 years experience in the Information Technology field, it was obvious that email gate was a farce right from the start. Even a junior I.T. student could see that this was an entire fabrication. There were never any emails and the accounts were obviously fake.” Says MP Paray.
MP Paray added “When you consider the serious allegations that were being peddled in this hoax it should be obvious that the only thing the Prime Minister can do now is tender his resignation.
His pathetic attempt to smear others in the most disgraceful and deceptive way means his government has now lost it way and can no longer govern.
The serious allegations purported by the Leader of the Opposition at that time Dr. Keith Rowley, brought the Office of the Prime Minister, the Attorney General and the Minister of National Security into disrepute as a result of these false accusation.
After investigations by the Integrity Commission, Google, Microsoft, the FBI, the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service and several independent technology expert investigators it was revealed that the emails were fake from the start.
Furthermore, Former Commissioner of Police Steven Williams and newly appointed Commissioner of Police commented on this matter saying that in the investigations, the emails were proven false.
Former Deputy Integrity Commission chairman Justice Sebastien Ventour’s trustworthiness has now come into question, subsequent to the fact that he had resigned from the integrity commission over the email gate affair.
“In my view this Commission of Enquiry is nothing more than another Emailgate hoax, a way for PM Keith Rowley to perpetuate more malicious rumors.
As such, Justice Venour who was one of the biggest cheerleaders of emailgate must step down from the Commission of Enquiry into the Point Fortin Highway”, Said Paray.
In this circumstance, MP Paray says that Prime Minister Rowley should apologize, and resign forthwith and a general election date should be announced immediately.
