MINISTER GRIFFITH DISCHARGED FROM HOSPITAL

rupertScience and Technology Minister Dr. Rupert Griffith has been discharged from the St. Clair Medical Centre after being kept overnight for observation.

Communications Minister Jamal Mohammed confirmed with C News that Minister Griffith was released on Thursday afternoon, hours after he was rushed to the private institution on Wednesday night.

Minister Mohammed said all tests performed on Minister Griffith came back normal and the doctors are saying his collapse was due to exhaustion.

Minister Griffith collapsed following the formal Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony between the Government and technology giant Microsoft.

He had earlier delivered an address at the event which was held to formally open the technology company’s new Trinidad base on Mucurapo Road, St James.
