Magdalena wins TripAdvisor award
Magdalena Grand Beach Resort in Tobago has earned its second consecutive Certificate of Excellence award from TripAdvisor. It recognises the resort in the top-performing ten per cent of all businesses worldwide—the resort is ranked number one of all Tobago properties listed—who have consistently earned high ratings on TripAdvisor.com through traveler reviews.
To qualify for the Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travelers on TripAdvisor. Magdalena Grand Beach resort has earned a rating of four based on 309 reviews. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months.
Of the 309 reviews, the resort received the highest praise from travellers earning 44 per cent of the ratings in the “Excellent” category followed by 36 per cent of travellers rating the property in the “Very Good” category. “We are proud to receive the Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor for the second year in a row as recognition of the high levels of service we provide guests,” said Howard Spittle, general manager of the Magdalena Grand Beach Resort.
“Since our grand opening last year we have strived to provide an optimal vacation experience for guests. Earning this honour is a special achievement for everyone that works at the resort because it reflects vacationers’ opinions of our service and the quality of the property.”
