Compassionate Prime Minister
Dear Editor:
During the Prime Minister’s visit to East Port-of-Spain, I was reminded why I supported her wholeheartedly in 2010. The genuine look of compassion on her face, the tears from her eyes, the concern in her voice,
I can see that she was truly feeling the pain for all that blood that was split. In that moment, I knew that she was and still is the best option to lead Trinidad and Tobago, for she has the country’s welfare in her heart.
In the last three years, my support for her has wavered at some points, but that look on her face reassured me that she would work to restore peace to our troubled land. She has seen many trials and tribulations since assuming office in 2010, but she continues to weather the storm.
The patriots in society need to do all we can to help our country as we approach our 51st anniversary of Independence. We cannot leave it all up to the government, we must all be collectively responsible in order to improve our country.

Where are the members of Parliament for the Laventille and Port of Spain Constituencies , they criticize every initiative the Peoples Partnership brought yet they complain that nothing is been done, the Prime Minister must be applaud for her show of compassion towards the people who are affected by the gang-warfare in those areas , after she have got something that the MP’s for those don’t have and that is to stand up and do something, Donna Cox have not even try to bring a Parental Guidance seminar , or some Career Guidance wookshop, even in Opposition there are things , not even her Local Government Councilors she partnered with to help to bring about development.
