Warner grasping at cabal straws
THE EDITOR: I have carefully been observing the new politics of today here in TT. It seems as though when someone in public life is being negatively scrutinised by the media, they try to throw their ultimate demise on someone else.
As it stands, Mr Warner seems to be grasping at straws trying to divert the attention away from the Prime Minister’s recent comments that he refused to travel on numerous occasions on Government business.
In all his speeches he continues to speak about a cabal within the party.
It makes no sense portraying such an image, since when decisions are taken; it is done under the cloak of the Cabinet. Cabinet currently consists of more than 30 persons.
It is therefore irresponsible to continue to try to convince the citizenry that only three or four Ministers can make all the decisions to govern this country.
