THREE families at Duff Trace, Lower Barrackpore were in a happy mood yesterday when their Parliamentary Representative, Dr Roodal Moonilal, visited them. He brought with him trucks bearing boulders which was dumped along the roadway to begin reconstruction of the road. On hand to show appreciation was Duff Road resident, Reshma Isaac, her three children and her mother, Indra Nanlal. Isaac told the Sunday Newsday she and the other families have been experiencing no end of problems to commute in and out of Duff Trace due to its dilapidated condition.
“I met Dr Moonilal at the opening of the Monkey Town Government Primary School and told him about the problem. He came yesterday and we are happy,” Isaac said.
