Show respect addressing the Prime Minister
THE EDITOR: I never heard anyone call the first Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago by his first name “Eric, Eric, Eric”
No one referred to the second Prime Minister as “George, George, George” or the third as “Arthur, Arthur, Arthur”. Not even our fourth Prime Minister was ever called by his first name “Basdeo, Basdeo, Basdeo” or the fifth “Patrick, Patrick, Patrick.”
But in a most disrespectful and distasteful and I dare say, derogatory manner, you find people, even those who should know better, calling our first and only present female Prime Minister, “Kamla, Kamla or Kamla” on radio talk shows and in other public and private conversations. Come off of it!
Whether you like her or not Mrs Kamla Persad-Bissessar is our Prime Minister and we need to have some respect for the woman and the office she holds.
Show some class people!

This is a true representation of the respect given to the womenfolk in this country. To a woman of that magnitude, utmost respect should be given to her I agree.
