Dear Editor,
Our nation is faced with a very important decision later this year. Will we return to government a woman who is single handedly changing the political culture of Trinidad and Tobago? Or will we return to the days of arrogance under a PNM administration led by a man who absolutely epitomizes arrogance?
The fact is the style of politics engaged by the PNM is simply outdated and this is reflected in the overall nonperformance of the Opposition Bench during Rowley’s tenure.
Ideas were absent and inspiration was clearly lacking, which has been evident to a large cross section of the population over this time. The population has been subjected to a weak and demoralized Opposition after the 2010 election, an out of control leader desperate for power, and a supporter base that just can’t bring itself to admit its current biggest problem is the loose and lying lips of their leader.
This is a man who has failed to represent his own constituency for over 25 years, claiming to not knowing even one of them, and he now has the nerve to want to represent a nation a large. Trinidad and Tobago we must reject everything about Keith Rowley, his leadership of the PNM, his crassness, his vulgarity, his contempt of women, the way he talks about our nation’s children and the fact that he believes he does not have to answer legitimate questions, including those about the origins of the emails he took to the Parliament.
