Well done AG and Mr. Imbert
For the first time in this Parliament, the government and the opposition agreed to work hand in hand for the good governance of the people. Mr. Imbert who led the opposition in the debate for the dangerous dogs bill supported the bill and decided that both the government and the opposition should work together to plug the loopholes in the bill using examples from the UK and right here in Trinidad.
The honourable Attorney General was immediately in strong agreement with this in stating that it was a worthy, interesting point and an as such an amendment would be made to the bill to ensure this condition was met, such as by asking dog owners to have a certificate of good character from the police for instance.
Thank you both honourable AG and Mr. Imbert for setting a precedence that hopefully others will follow in the parliament.

I, also would like to congratulate Mr. Imbert & the AG for this move in working together for the good of the Country, again it proves that Mr. Imbert can do the Opposition more good than Dr. Rowley can ever do, I think if Imbert was the Chief Whip he could have been a better help to his leader.
Honestly whether you like it or not, the current AG honorable Mr. Anand Ramlogan is the best Attorney General we have seen for this decade. It is difficult to imagine him not being the AG due to frivolous calls for him to demit office on false allegations…
