Warner: I will cuss the cabal until I die

The Leader of the Independent Liberal Party (ILP), Mr. Jack Warner, says the Prime Minister needs saving from a ‘cabal’ in the Government.

Speaking at his first Cottage Meeting since launching his party in Frederick Settlement, Caroni, Mr. Warner said the cabal continues to fracture the party and is hastening the Government’s downfall.

He has offered to join his party with the People’s Partnership after July 29th.

“I will cuss the cabal until I die because it’s the cabal who have us where we are here tonight. When we could have spent our energies fighting the PNM and Rowley, look what we are doing. Thanks to the cabal. Mrs. Persad-Bissessar is not my enemy and will never be. I am sorry for her. She is a victim of the cabal and we have to free her from that.”

Mr. Warner promised that more things will come to light in the days ahead.

“You’ll hear of poor decisions being made which are decisions against the law.”

Mr. Warner also weighed in on the Vasant Bharath/Khadijah Ameen matter and maintained that he will not be drawn into a battle with her.

“I don’t want to attack the lady. I leave that for Vasant Bharath to do. When Vasant Bharath wrote that article attacking Ms. Ameen, it’s only one person who came to her defence. That was me, me, me. Vasant Bharath sent the email to 34 of us and only person fought in her defence and begged Bharath not to be so hard on the lady.”
