Office of the Member of Parliament for Naparima Vandalised
During the night of Wednesday, 16th September, 2015 the office of the Member of Parliament for Naparima, located at Cedar Hill on Manahambre Road was vandalised.
A report was, the very next morning, made to the Princes Town Police Station and the office of the Parliament of Trinidad and Tobago -owners of the premises. Officer Bridgemohan is conducting enquiries.
Preliminary investigations showed that none of the office equipment was stolen, however windows and doors were broken and all the filing cabinets were ramshackled and files were scattered throughout the premises.
“It is unfortunate that this incident has occurred, it is the first time the premises have been broken into after years of operations, and it my hope that the person/persons who broke into the premises will be speedily brought to justice” said Rodney Charles, MP for Naparima.
