Naparima Constituency Executive and MP Rodney Charles fully endorse the Candidacy of Mrs. Kamla Persad Bissessar.

Naparima Constituency Executive and MP Rodney Charles met earlier this week in emergency session and unanimously decided to unreservedly endorse the candidacy of Mrs. Kamla Persad Bissessar as the candidate best suited to lead the party in these challenging times.

We note that the Opposition Leader has already begun the much anticipated transformation of the party by bringing on board a cadre of young, bright Councillors and MPs to better prepare the UNC for future enlightened governance of the country.

We believe that a disruption of this transformation process will not be in the best interest of the party neither will it augur well for the party and the country.

We have taken note of the current internal party elections and actions taken which in our view only provide comfort, succour and enjoyment to our many detractors. especially the PNM.

We remind that our real problem is the PNM and as we advocate for our respective positions we must ensure that whatever we say as we pursue our campaign is directed not at fellow party members whom we should seek always to uplift, but instead to the evil, vindictive, clueless, soulless and intellectually bankrupt PNM that is slowly and unrelentingly destroying our country.
