MP Ramdial Provides Home for Carli Bay Family
Member of Parliament for Couva North, the Honourable Ramona Ramdial together with the National Gas Company (NGC) and Habitat for Humanity Trinidad & Tobago (HFHTT) constructed a home for the White family of Carli Bay, Couva and officially dedicated it on Tuesday.
Ramdial had been working closely with the White family since taking office in 2010, providing assistance with social welfare, healthcare and employment. She stated that she was “especially happy for Meena White and her family as they finally received their newly constructed home”.
In her speech at the dedication ceremony, the MP publicly thanked NGC and HFHTT for their efforts and acknowledged the volunteers who came together to construct the home.
Ramdial reminded all that her “aim as MP is to provide for constituents a better standard of living, especially the lesser fortunate ones”. She also reaffirmed intentions to continue her ongoing work in Carli Bay with drainage, water projects, roads and social assistance for residents.
