Kudos to traffic wardens

THE EDITOR: Having seen the milling of the road in the Powder Magazine area over the weekend, I anticipated the horrendous traffic jam that would ensue on the Monday after the long weekend and took appropriate action by leaving earlier. I still got into some traffic but not like the traffic jam that commuters experienced who left later than 6.30 am.

I was pleasantly surprised however that the very next day Tuesday June 24, there was minimal traffic flowing out of Diego up to Powder Magazine.

Kudos to the traffic wardens who worked in the Crystal Stream area and to the persons who undertook the swift overnight repaving in Cocorite resulting in the reduction of traffic. Eagerly awaiting the repainting of the lines.
