Kamla pulled us back from the brink
Dear Editor,
Attempted suicide is a criminal act. Assisting someone to commit suicide, also. Based on its incontrovertible record, voting or encouraging anyone to vote PNM fall in the same bracket, therefore ought to be outlawed.
If decisive action wasn’t taken in 2010, Trinidad and Tobago would’ve stalled and gone into an irreversible tailspin long ago. Today, we would’ve been worse off than Greece and Zimbabwe combined. We are not, because of one woman: Kamla Persad-Bissessar.
It was her progressive, people-focused philosophy which pulled us back from the brink, settled us down, then put us on a path to growth, a path that seeks to ease us off wholesale dependence on oil and gas.
Yet, progress deniers would have us believe the People’s Partnership is the worst government ever.
A few, apparently, have left their political roost and taken up residence on the airwaves, to disseminate their koochoor against Kamla more widely.
Doh beat up on them! Pity them!.
Tabanca has them bazodee. Seriously, they miss being in government badly.
Poor things, they fail to realize spreading doom and gloom about their homeland hurts THEIR credibility and international image, NOT Kamla’s, as all credible polls have repeatedly confirmed.
I wish the election were tomorrow, so the disastrous consequences of their wilful ignorance could be more quickly averted than quite September 7th.
One love!
