Kamla did well
In all fairness to Kamla, she did an excellent job over the last five years to stabilise our economy that was reeling from corruption, wanton wastage, lack of listening to the voice of the people, smelters and rapid rail systems while the average citizen suffered from poor roads, poor drainage, bad health care system and practices and little social services prior to her term in office.
Under her administration, she relieved many of their duties not always due to evidence but even under allegations because she believed that her ministers must be able to withstand public scrutiny. If it was PNM, those ministers would have never been fired. She fired all that was misbehaving in public office, and she must be commended for that.
Prior to 2010, the use of social media was not that prevalent also and past administrations could hide their dirty linen quite easily. Never under the PNM rule, have we ever seen that type of disciplinary action.
We need to judge a government based on performance and not race. We who are adults struggle to keep our family in check; can you imagine doing that for 1.3 million people?
