Jearlean John is a dynamic firebrand senator representing our great party in the Upper House, and has served as Deputy Political Leader since 2017.

Jearlean John has a track record of entrepreneurial and management excellence for over twenty five (25) years in both the public and private sectors.

Ms. John first came into the Senate in 2001, and served as Minister of Transport and Minister of Tourism and Tobago Affairs and Minister of Transport.

She also held positions as CEO of the Housing Development Corporation (HDC), and Managing Director of the Port Authority of Trinidad and Tobago.

She is a Chartered Accountant, Certified Professional Accountant, and Certified Management Accountant.
