Dr. Narindra Roopnarine was awarded a National Scholarship in 1996 and he has been a Medical Doctor since 2001.
He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, Diploma in Primary Care, a Masters in Family Medicine, Diploma in Emergency Medicine, and a Master of Public Health.
He is presently engaged in private practice as a Family Physician and a Public Health Specialist.
He lectures part time at The University of The West Indies in the Family Medicine Program since 2008.
Dr. Roopnarine has a long association with the party, as his father was one of the founding MPs of CLUB88 and the UNC.
