Dr Lacram Bodoe is the outgoing MP for Fyzabad and Shadow for Health.

Born and raised in Avocat Village, he has specialised in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Jamaica and the United Kingdom, and he practiced at the San Fernando General Hospital for twenty (20) years.

Dr Bodoe was chairman of the South West Regional Health Authority (SWRHA) from October 2010 – August 2015.

In that position he oversaw the state of the art San Fernando Teaching Hospital and the Couva Children’s Hospital, the opening of new and upgrading existing health centres, and extended hours at health centres, among many other achievements.
