Congratulations to Minister of Energy

AwardTHE EDITOR: Allow me an opportunity to congratulate the Energy Minister on another solid performance in the debate on the fiscal 2015 budget. Minister Ramnarine spoke in both houses of Parliament and gave a credible account of the state of the energy sector. This is a sector that has clearly changed course under the Honourable Minister with an upsurge in drilling and new discoveries of oil and natural gas in the last four years under his watch.

The Minister is one of the young Cabinet Ministers and it is good to see young talent rising in TT. This is a country that likes to pull down and it was therefore no surprise that he was routinely criticised by the PNM in both houses. I want to tell the Minister no one pelts a barren tree. The Minister must hear what is being said about the positivity around the energy sector which was generated by his focus on attracting investment.

Keep up the good work and fly the flag of TT Minister Ramnarine.
