Dear Editor:
Herbert Volney has me extremely puzzled. I cannot understand how a supposedly intelligent former high court judge could indulge in such political buffoonery. One day he is extremely critical of Jack Warner, saying he should be fired from the government, soon after he want to join any political party that Mr. Warner purports to form. How could a supposedly logically thinking man, one who always tries to give the appearance that he is above the moral high-ground, could want to align himself who has the spectre of corruption following him is beyond me. It just goes to show that his ability to think straight has gone to shreds, that he is being clouded by his political desperateness.
How else could we explain that he appeared on the stage at UNC’s Monday Night Forum in St. Augustine, hand in hand with the Prime Minister just last month, and now he is behaving like an teenager in puberty, looking to latch on to the latest fad. Mr. Volney, it would be best to try to salvage and protect whatever credibility you have left and please think before you speak and act. You are proving that you are indeed a political imbecile every time you do.
