UNC Youth Arm Hails Under-19 Victors

U19cricketThe Youth Arm of the United National Congress wishes to extend hearty congratulations to both our National Under 19 female cricketers and our Under 19 girls water polo team in light of their recent spate of victories.

The T&T senior women won gold at the Central American and Caribbean Amateur Swimming Confederation (CCCAN) Championship with a 9-5 defeat of Guatemala for a 3-0 record in the two-team event at the Guatemala National Swimming Pool, Guatemala City, on Friday.

Our Trinidad and Tobago Under 19 female cricketers defeated the Windward Islands by 27 runs in the final at the NCC on Saturday.

It is heartwarming to see our young Trinbagonian citizens fly our flag high and put Trinidad and Tobago on the map for something positive at a time where our country is starved of positivity.

The UNC Youth Arm is extremely proud of their efforts and we see their victories as an inspiration to youths everywhere. Their success is a testament to their determination and hard work from the beginning of their journey. Undoubtedly, they have come a long way and have much further to go. We wish them all the very best in their future endeavours and reiterate our confidence in their capabilities to keep proudly representing the red, white and black.

Chris A Hosein
Chairman
