UNC Women takes on Leadership Challenge
The United National Congress congratulates its Women’s arm, led by Dr. Catherine Ali, for its landmark initiative in organizing a three-day training seminar on Professional Project Management.
The event, which was launched last Saturday and would run for the next two Saturdays, is aimed at expanding leadership capacity in women. It will conclude with a day of application in socio-political projects.
This event in its education series is teaching participants how to plan, implement and manage new and ongoing projects for women. The initial session on Saturday was on the theme “Building a Bridge Within A Time Frame”.
The Women’s Arm is committed to working to develop leadership skills and encourage greater participation of women in the politics of our party and in Trinidad and Tobago.
It has heeded a call by our Political Leader, Mrs. Kamla Persad-Bissessar, for all arms of the party to become engaged in strengthening the party and its membership to take on the challenges of leadership in the 21st century
