Time To Deal With Dr Rowley
It is high time that Dr Rowley and other delusional groups such as Fixin’ T&T put a rest to the e-mailgate issue. Apart from several IT expert analyses, Acting Commissioner of Police Stephen Williams also stated that the Police investigation into the emailgate issue revealed that Rowley’s e-mails were fake. However, not deterred by the facts, Dr Rowley and his misfits are adamant on attacking the Prime Minister and other Government Ministers, insinuating that there was still some truth to the e-mails.
Local Government Minister Dr Suruj Rambachan as one of the named “conspirators” in Rowley’s e-mails made an enquiry to International Internet service provider (ISP) Google which deemed at least one e-mail address, anan@gmail.com, to be fake. Dr Rambachan enquired whether any such e-mail was sent to him by anan@gmail.com between September 1 and September 30, 2012; and further, whether anan@gmail.com existed during this period. In a same-day response from internationalcivil@google.com, they replied “after a diligent search and reasonable enquiry, we have found no subscriber information or IP (Internet Protocol) log information for any gmail account created by a user with the e-mail addressanan@gmail.com”.
The evidence against the authenticity of Dr Rowley’s e-mails is overwhelming. The real issue now is, how do we hold Dr Rowley accountable for trying to deceive the entire nation with fabricated e-mails. No one should be able to make such serious allegations against a Government using “fake evidence” and escape unscathed.
