• Approval of the Principles for Responsible Investment in Agriculture and Food Systems
• Discussion of measures to address food losses and waste, and the role of fisheries and aquaculture in food security and nutrition.
• Approval of the Framework for Action on Addressing Food Insecurity in Protracted Crises.
Additionally, FAO stands ready to technically support the next steps of this process, especially implementation at the national level. The Ministry of Food Production is pleased to remind our citizens of our efforts to create a food secure nation. The National Food Production Action Plan 2012- 2015 is the policy framework in which the Ministry aims to increase food production in key commodities of economic viability and great nutritious value.
