THE EDITOR: In 2010 when the PP Government came into power, the critics claimed it could not last six months. But it lasted four years and is set to finish its full five years in style with two new highways, one to Point Fortin and one through Caroni to Piarco.
Every right thinking person would agree that the Prime Minister has done a good job of holding together the disparate elements of the PP into one cohesive force. True they have made a few missteps but they were an inexperienced lot and they owned up to their missteps and sought to correct them.
In addition, five years are too short a time to judge a new government. I seriously suggest the PP be given a second term to complete its plans. It deserve it.
