Opposition propaganda
This new apparently scandalous information about cameras at the Director of Public Prosecutions’ office is such an obvious smoke screen planted in the daily press by the People’s National Movement.
How on earth could you not assume, in this day of modern technology and security requirements, that an office with a charge as critical as the DPP’s office would not be under security surveillance? The information alone contained in files at the DPP’s office must be protected from leaks for the very upkeep of justice.
Other than the very obvious logic above, the article itself is written in a very suspicious manner; whether this is just poor journalism or a daft attempt to use one issue to talk about a pure fiction, I’m not sure. Because the article starts out on the premise that DPP staff is concerned about being monitored 24-7, and then somewhere in the middle we get to information about “contracts and UNC financiers”, “appointment date of head of facilities” and “spying on the DPP during S34”… It is so obvious the article is just a ruse to throw bits and pieces of salacious information around.
This article is like an episode of The Young and the Restless, where an audience is fed little key lines or ideas to hold on to, with no real substance.
Please, PNM propagandist, come better than that. This is like “Propaganda 101”, and it really is a pity the daily press is either too blind to see it is being used, or actually part of the propaganda.
