Is Al Rawi superior to us?
The cycle of life and death, our common humanity, the mystery of our existence here on this earth. It is often argued that the presence of our life-force, our soul, is the proof that we are all connected to the source of infinite intelligence, the omnipotent presence that is call God. We refer to that presence by different names, but as humans we all have that link to however we refer to that ultimate source of existence.
Knowing this, we should all strive to live a life that honours that link. We should all live to help our fellow human since by serving man we would be serving God. So I ask, what was the purpose of Al-Rawi’s statement? What is that he was trying to appear superior to us mere mortals? Is it that he has some divine right that we are not privy to? And how is he using his divine link to improve the lot of his fellow man?
Please Senator Al-Wari, if you are indeed superior to us mere mortals, do not dishonour the Muslim religion by not living the life to pay homage to you claim!
