Irrelevant noise
Dear Editor:
There is nothing sadder that a once great actor or actress or sportsperson not knowing when it is time to bow out and gracefully exit the stage or playing field. In an effort to capture past glory, they keep trying harder and harder to the detriment to their once proud memory. It only leads to a pitiful and regretful situation.
This is akin to what is currently taking place with former Attorney General Ramesh Lawrence Maharaj. He has had his day in the sun. He is going to great lengths to remind everyone of this fact, in short claiming to be the best AG this country has ever seen. However, his latest efforts to regain some political relevance is only serving to make one pity him. He is using any and every issue to try to resuscitate his comatose political career from the wayside. His latest attempt of using the callous and horrendous death of Senior Counsel Dana Seetahal is really scraping the barrel and represents a new low, even for him. Come on Ramesh, take stock of how your are coming off and try to repair your already damaged personal integrity. If you heed this good piece of advice, please pass on the message to the others you associate with.
