Don’t Burn Your Bridges
Dear Editor,
Volney is a good example of an indecisive, desperate man who exercises poor judgement. In the face of a consensus vote of Government and Opposition members in the Dogs Control Bill in Parliament, Volney voted against the measure. Volney stated that he did not trust the Attorney General, who piloted the legislation, and he did not trust the bill. Is this a reason for Volney to vote against the bill?
It is commendable that both the Opposition and the Government can agree on such issues as they help to assure public confidence in our leaders. How reckless, irresponsible and selfish for Volney to state that his vote against the bill was his declaration of independence. This action by Volney has clearly demonstrated that he does not wish to support anything that will benefit the general public.
Volney also continues to make allegations against the PP Government and the Attorney General, in his attempt to win favour with Jack Warner. It appears that one individual with numerous allegations against him is attracting individuals of a similar demeanor. I would like to give both Volney and Mr Warner a piece of advice…”don’t burn your bridges “.
