Damned if you do, damned if you don’t

I have to agree with Inspector Alexander in his comments on the daily televised segment “beyond the tape” where he illustrated the point that citizens of our country seem to be confused as to what they really want. The example that he used was one where there is an outcry when vagrants are on the streets and no one wanted to move them. When the police make attempts to move them, there is an outcry that these are humans and shouldn’t be moved with vans, etc. this was a noteworthy because in our society, it is evident that this is truly the reality.
For the opening of the interchange of the highway from San Fernando to Debe, there were many persons with placards stating their support for the highway. Later in the news, there are persons starving themselves and saying that its poor governance to continue the highway. It made me to realise that no matter what the government does or whoever is in government, there will be those that are supportive and others against.
