The Political Leader of the United National Congress has convened a Caucus meeting carded for Monday, 7th January, to meet with all members of the Parliamentary Caucus as well as the National Executive of the Party.

As the Party prepares for the upcoming Local Government Elections and the General Elections constitutionally due in 2019 and 2020 respectively, the United National Congress will be employing a all hands on deck. Mrs Persad-Bissessar will first meet with each MP and Senator in a one on one meeting followed by the Parliamentary caucus.

In her invitation to Parliamentarians and NATEX members, Mrs Persad Bissessar noted “I am aware that this team contains a wide range of experience, skills and competencies which may be generally known and unknown. There is definite need for all of these skills in this campaign.”

“As our front line Representatives, your contribution is critical to ensuring victory in these elections.”

Trinidad and Tobago has suffered greatly under the hands of this Keith Rowley administration. Our economy has collapsed and we have seen mass retrenchment and there is a pervasive sense of hopelessness. The incoming Administration will face a mammoth’s task to correct the damage done by this Government.

This is the first in a series of strategic meetings as the UNC prepares to bring good governance to Trinidad and Tobago. The Party continues its community building membership and reiterate our call to all those interested in national development to come forward and be part of the change.
